phenylketonurics: This was my mom’s favourite cartoon as a little girl.  When we found a DVD of it, she recoiled at the remastered opening and I knew at that moment I was the offspring of a 60’s weeaboo. When I first saw a trailer for this in one of the classic Disney movies (I want to say The Lion King), I was like “WTF? Lion King ripoff?” Especially since it was titled “Kimba: The White Lion”.Oh well, ripoff or not, the old animes were the best.
